Job Summary:

The Service Advisor is responsible to provide professional service to the customers, in terms of accurately recording and organizing quality repair and maintenance services so as to enhance customer retention and facilities the sales of new units in the long term.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and greet customers, understand their vehicle concerns and advice the service and repair
 needs, carry out as much visual inspection as possible to advice work required on the vehicle, use manufacturer's recommendations to advice additional work, agree the work scope and obtain cost and time agreement.
• Write the instructions for technician for the routine jobs and exact description of symptoms for other concerns described by customers.
• Assign the jobs to technicians and follow up the work progress with respectively team members.
• Keep regular contact with customers to keep them abreast of the progress on their vehicles.
• Inform the customer when the vehicle is ready. Job details and costs should be informed to customer as well, deliver the vehicle on customer arrival with full details of what jobs have been done. Also inform the customers which of the complaints have not been attended (if any) and why.
• Ask the customers if they are satisfied with the jobs done. Immediately escalate to Manager if any customer is not satisfied within 48 hours of delivery, call the customer to ensure satisfaction.
• Establish healthy and profitable relationship by proactively communicating and following up with the existing as well as prospective customer on performance of their cars and if they required any service attention so as consolidate and enhances the customer base
• Participates in project work where applicable

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible in completing a variety of general and sales oriented administrative tasks in account management. Ensure an efficient and qualitative portfolio poli
cy management, information database management towards stakeholders, documentation and sales administration to support the account managers. The role holder will work together in close cooperation with their international strategic partner.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Portfolio Policy Management
• Assists in managing all the administrative processes pertaining to policies related to his portfolio (registration of policy holders, issuing policy amendments, etc.).
• Completes accurate entry of application details, issues individual credit limits and policy to the policy holder.
• Reviews policy documentation, letters/emails from policyholders or brokers.
• Handles enquiries on policy administration from clients, intermediaries and internal team members in a quality and professional manner.
• Provides guidance and training to the team to enhance technical knowledge.

Information Database Management
• Ensures that all requests for providing any information requested by stakeholders are addressed in a timely manner.
• Assesses the quality of information/data received to ensure sufficient information is available.

Account Management
• Ensures invoices are generated and issued in a timely manner.
• Ensures that statement of accounts is up to date and clients have cleared payments in time.
• Follows up on internal documentation and internal processes to expedite issuance of policies, annexes and or any other documents.
• Responsible for reconciling accounts and ensuring payments have been cleared

ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Bachelor or Master Degree Holder in either of the following or any other related field of study:

Relevant Experience
• Prior experience in policy management, account management, underwriting or risk management, preferably in the Export Credit Insurance/Banking Industry, is an asset.
